It all comes together with a Castle

It all comes together with a Castle, the well known lager ad preaches every day to the 51million people in SA. The spectators and supporters the fans and followers all enjoy a cold one together and life is good!

Even when an uncomfortable situation arises, two rivals groups face off, either in a bar or on the street, if someone just shouts, “inqaba” loosly meaning (in the context), “give evey one a round of Castle, the anomosity disappears and they come together.

It was an afternoon o watching world cup soccer that i became frustrated by the scenes of ‘coming together’ i was seeing all over! Hear me out, i love the fact that our country’s people were bridging racial gaps but I hated how it was happening. Every where people were coming together in bars, clubs, restuarants, stadiums, suburbs and all seemed fine until I thought of my church. All over, the country was coming together yet not at my church or many others!

I decided that I should do something. Over the next year I started challanging my church’s mindset on this. Why aren’t we leading our nation in coming together? After all this time, why haven’t the church stepped up to become the leading voice and teacher for reconcilliation and restitution?

I believe a course correction is necessary! If God is continually forced to use other entities to accomplish his agenda’s then the church is fast becoming obsolete.

Equality is God’s agenda
Land is God’s agenda
Freedom is God’s agenda
Government is God’s agenda
Education is God’s agenda
Job creation is God’s agenda
Law is God’s agenda

It’s time the We the Christians take leadership in bringing our nation together around God’s agenda. I’ve started, have you?
